In the limelight with Laura Riley | Bridgehead

Tell us about role at Bridgehead

Laura Riley: Over the last five and a half years, I’ve progressed to the position of UK Sales Director at Bridgehead. It all began when our CEO, Paul, approached me on LinkedIn due to my background in baby products. There was a baby product that Bridgehead wanted to launch into the UK market. As they say, the rest is history!

Since then, I have worked on a variety of products, including camping lights, card payment devices, ev charging, and tech toys. I have been instrumental in successfully launching these brands into the UK market.

How would you describe your daily responsibilities?

Laura Riley: I am responsible for developing and implementing client sales strategies with our CEO and Founder, Paul. We plan and launch new client products into the UK market through setting and delivering sales targets.

I act as an account manager for our key accounts and manage the sales team on a day-to-day basis.

Which aspects of our mission resonate with you the most?

Laura Riley: A core value of ours is delivering rapid results to our clients. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. I enjoy the thrill of working under pressure to achieve results quickly for our clients. I want our clients to see success in the shortest time possible!

In what ways have you developed your leadership skills during your time with Bridgehead?

Laura Riley: My favourite part of my job is managing Bridgehead’s key accounts, working with clients at a senior level, and building good relationships. I also enjoy establishing relationships with UK retailers. It’s important to have strong relationships to help our clients get their products onto shelves.

Professionally, what’s the most important thing you have learned?

Laura Riley: Managing multiple clients across different verticals has taught me how to manage my time effectively. I enjoy working collaboratively with other team members and celebrating successes with them!
